All commercial business users will be charged for the disposal of waste at Bruslee Recycling and Civic Amenity Site. This is necessary due to the volume of commercial users visiting the site and the increasing costs to Council for the disposal of waste.

Commercial traders wanting to dispose of waste at this centre must register with Newtownabbey Borough Council.

To Apply for Registration:

A registration form is included in the 'Bruslee Business Leaflet' which can be downloaded or collect one from reception at Mossley Mill.

Completed forms must be returned to Reception at Mossley Mill or posted to Administration Services, Level 1, Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey, BT36 5QA.

Opening Times

April to September:

Monday-Thursday 9.00am - 8.30pm

Friday-Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm

October to March:

Monday - Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Last arrival should be 1/2 hour before closure.

Holiday Closures: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 12th July.

Update on Charges

Mixed General Waste: £116.00 per tonne

Green Waste Only: £40.85 per tonne

Loss of token: £10.20
