Set in the rolling, green countryside around the bustling, traditional market town of Ballyclare. This parkland course makes good use of the natural features of its landscape, in particular the local river and streams. The fairways are tree-lined and, as expected, accurate driving is required for a good score.

This is a public course with no members and no pre-booking. This par 3 nine hole golf course is excellent for the keen beginner or for those who wish to practice on a short course. A resident PGA professional is available throughout opening hours to provide expert advice and tuition. Twenty-seven floodlit driving bays and a shop are open each evening until 10pm.

Burnfield House Golf Course & Restaurant

This is a nine hole course and membership is still open in various categories. A licensed restaurant is open to the public 7 days a week and there is a Quiz Night on Thursdays at 9pm and live music on Saturdays. Golfing societies and private parties are welcome and entertainment can be arranged on request.

Greenacres Golf Club

A challenging parkland course designed to fit in with the natural rolling countryside of County Antrim, but its proximity to Belfast also makes it an ideal stop for a quick round with visitors based in the city. In addition to the course there is a 20 bay, fully floodlit driving range, perfect if you want to get in a little practice.

Visitors Welcome, but avoid Sunday mornings
