The Council’s Economic Development section would like to highlight to local businesses a table that has been produced by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, detailing the various types of financial support being provided throughout the current economic downturn.
Nadean Lowe, the Council’s Economic Development Officer comments;
“It is important that local businesses are made aware of the wide spectrum of financial assistance that is available to them given the current economic climate. The Council’s Economic Development section is committed to supporting the local business community and plans to deliver a series of Business Support Programmes over the next few months which will help businesses to be more innovative and sustainable in the market place. Details are available on request.”
The table is available on the DETI’s website homepage www.detni.gov.uk under the heading ‘Assistance to Business’ and is updated as new schemes are introduced or existing schemes amended. Additional information can also be found at www.nibusinessinfo.co.uk/financesupport.
