The Sixmile health fair which took place yesterday has received glowing reports from members of the public who attended. A large number of people turned up to get information and advice on various health related issues from the wide range of exhibitors and some had also pre-booked appointments with the Action Cancer Big Bus.
Clifford Todd, Acting Environmental Services Manager for Newtownabbey Borough Council, commented:
“We’re delighted that the event was so well attended by members of the public and found that each stand attracted a lot of attention. I hope that everyone found it beneficial and were able to take away some useful information that might help improve their health. “
Another health fair is due to take place at the Valley leisure centre later in the year.
