Ballyclare Makes Way For The Autumnfest Trail!

Eoin and Niamh Keenan help clear the way for this year’s Autumnfest Trail starting on Monday 22 October. Chris Sewell, Assistant Manager of Milestone Spar, sponsors of the £50 Smyths Toy Store voucher is joined by Aaron McMahon from Glenwell Spar.

 

Get maps to the ready as the Autumnfest Trail is coming soon to Ballyclare! With riddles to be solved and prizes to be won, it’s set to be fun for all the family!

The Autumnfest Trail, organised by Newtownabbey Borough Council, is open to all primary school children and any children taking part must be accompanied by an adult. Maps will be available from next week at local schools and the Town Hall.

The trail begins on Monday 22nd October and all completed trail maps must be returned to Ballyclare Town Hall by 1pm on Monday 29th October. Every correct trail map will then be entered into the prize draw with the winner will being announced at 5.30pm during the Scarecrow Competition.

Chris Sewell, Assistant Manager at the Milestone Spar who are sponsoring first prize commented:

This year’s Autumnfest will take place on Monday 29th October with many festive events to keep the family entertained such as apple pie making, scarecrow competition, pumpkin carving, mini fun fair and much more!
