Newtownabbey Borough Council owns and operates Theatre at The Mill and The Courtyard Theatre and is forming an Artistic Board to assist and advise the Council on its artistic strategy in relation to these performing arts venues specifically and the development of arts in the Borough generally.

The Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are either practitioners in the performing arts or passionate about the arts and representative of the arts service stakeholders.  We would like them to become non executive members of the Artistic Board for an initial 3 year term. The positions are voluntary with remuneration limited to reasonable expenses incurred during performance of duties. The board members will work in partnership with elected members and officers of Newtownabbey Borough Council in order to contribute to the future direction of the arts in Newtownabbey.
