Loughshore Park will host the annual Shoreline Festival featuring family fun and activities during the August bank holiday weekend. The three day festival promises to bring fun and excitement with its many activities keeping all ages entertained.
This year will see the inclusion of a sandcastle building competition on Saturday 25th August from 2pm-3pm. The theme for the competition will be traditional sandcastles with a twist! Put together a team and show off your creative flair by building original and imaginative sand sculptures for your chance to win one of the prizes up for grabs!
The Shoreline Festival will run from Saturday 25th toMonday 27th August with most events being free to the general public. Each night will play host to a variety of live music concerts with the return of the Classics in the Park on the Monday night followed by a spectacular fireworks display to mark the end of the festival. Families of all ages and sizes are encouraged to come along and enjoy one of the last opportunities of summer fun before school starts back.
