Last week, The Valley Leisure Centre started the summer holidays by playing host to a dance and drama workshop.  The programme which was delivered by the Council’s dance coach, Jennifer Milligan and local drama teacher Sarah Lyle, had budding actors and dancers from throughout the Borough performing scenes, songs and dance routines from West End musical ‘We Will Rock You’.

"It was great to see so many young people getting physically active in such a fun and unique way. The standard of performance was outstanding and the parents were certainly well entertained at the end performance on Friday! Due to the workshop’s success, we plan to hold similar programmes later on in the year, so look out for information regarding these over the coming months.”
