Visitors to the event were treated to chocolate eggs kindly provided by Tesco Northcott while also getting the opportunity to decorate a patchwork cow which will take up residence in Loughshore Park this summer as part of Northern Ireland’s CowParade.
Ed Burns, President of Glengormley Traders Association said:
“This event is exactly what Glengormley needs – it was great to see the park being used by so many people. We are grateful for the funding received from Newtownabbey Borough Council’s community festival fund and hope to build on this for next year”.
Lisa O’Kane, Tourism & Events Manager added:
“We were delighted that the rain stayed away and that the crowds came out to support this annual event in Glengormley. Everyone had a great day and we have received excellent feedback so far”.
