Summer Source hits your doorstep

The Summer edition of the Council’s SOURCE magazine should be with residents and businesses this week. With the Olympic Torch Run on 3 June fast approaching there is information on how to be part of this once in a lifetime event. The Queen’s Jubilee celebrations are also featured and it and the Olympic Torch Run are themes for the Council’s the ‘Big Party’ event at Jordanstown Loughshore Park on 3 June. SOURCE has a special insert about the ‘Big Party.’

 With changes to the kerbside recycling scheme happening soon there is also lots of information on how residents can ‘recycle more at their door’.  The results of a recent Council survey highlighted the ongoing problems of litter and dog fouling and this issue of SOURCE has information on the latest initiatives underway to tackle these problems with the help of the local community.
