Community groups in the Carrickfergus, Antrim and Newtownabbey areas are invited to attend the new Playhouse Theatre of Witness production entitled “I Once Knew a Girl…” at Corrs Corner Hotel, Newtownabbey, on  25th November at 2.00pm.

 

“I Once Knew a Girl…”, is an original multi-media Theatre of Witness production performed and created by women who’s lives were affected during the Troubles. Based on their true life stories, the production is performed by daughters, mothers, grandmothers and partners who through the circumstances of history became involved as witnesses, survivors, and active participants of the Troubles as well as more recent years of peace building.

 

“I Once Knew a Girl…” has recently played to packed audiences across Northern Ireland and Border Counties and this added date will be the last opportunity to experience the production.
