The search is on for the best of Newtownabbey’s businesses, as the Newtownabbey Business Awards 2010 were launched today at Chain Reaction Cycles. 

 

The awards are being organised by Newtownabbey Borough Council with support from Full Circle Management Solutions and Pierce Communications.

 

The awards, which are open to every business in Newtownabbey, are free to enter, and applicants are invited to enter as many categories as are applicable to them. The categories are:

(i)                 Excellence in Customer Service (Retail industry)

(ii)                Excellence in Customer Service (Service industry)

(iii)               Best Tourism & Hospitality Business

(iv)             Best Creative Business

(v)              Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility

(vi)             Best New Business Start Up

(vii)            Best Manufacturing Business

(viii)           Best Growth Business

(ix)             Excellence in People Development

(x)              Best Innovative Use of IT

(xi)             International Trade Growth Award

(xii)            Best Marketing Initiative

(xiii)           Employee of the Year

(xiv)         Business Person of the Year

 

The awards brochure, which will be posted to all Newtownabbey businesses, will detail each of the fourteen awards categories, how to enter, and how to get tickets for the Gala Awards evening. There are many opportunities to sponsor an award category or other elements of the gala awards evening.
