About Us

The Newtownabbey Community Safety Partnership (NCSP) is committed to making the Borough of Newtownabbey a safe place in which to Live, Work and Visit.
What Is Community Safety
Community Safety is concerned with tackling factors within communities that cause people to live with crime, fear of crime and antisocial behaviour.
In doing so it is recognized that these issues are no longer the concern of the criminal justice agencies alone, instead a more co-ordinated and strategic approach has been adopted.
At its core Community Safety is about delivering local solutions to local problems identified by local people.
