The Rules

Fishing is only permitted between:

1 March and 31 October

Opening hours: 9am-10pm Monday-Sunday

Tickets can be purchased at reception at Mossley Mill and online at www.newtownabbey.gov.uk/fishery

For the enjoyment of everyone please obey the following rules:

• Fishing licence and valid ticket should be on display at all times.
• Fly fishing only.
• Only barbless hooks to be used.
• Under 16 only permitted with an adult.
• No lures or bait permitted.
• Bailiffs are to be obeyed at all times.
• No alcohol.
• Fishing is only permitted from the designated stands.
• Fish greater than 3lb or 50cm long to be returned to the fishery.
• It is not permitted to carry out any activity which has an adverse impact on the animals, brids or flora within the mill site. This includes the use of scare tactics.

The Council accepts no responsibility or liability for damage to or loss of property, articles or other items whatsoever, placed or left at the site by those using the fishery.
