Newtownabbey Borough Council is committed to the promotion, enhancement and protection of our local biodiversity through the implementation of the Biodiversity Action Plan “The Future in Our Hands”. There are a wide variety of projects throughout Newtownabbey which promote the importance of biodiversity while working with a range of bodies to enhance and protect our natural resources.
