Mayor’s Business Visits
Over the past year a series of Mayoral visits have taken place with local business owners from across the Borough. The main purpose of the visits has been to discuss key issues faced by the business community in the current economic climate and to provide an opportunity for them to raise concerns relating to local economic development.
Since the Mayoral visits began in February 2011 over thirty businesses have been visited. Following each Mayoral visit, press releases and photographs are placed in the local press and on the Councils website, providing an opportunity for businesses to receive positive publicity.
All of the businesses who have participated in the Mayoral visits have welcomed the opportunity to meet with the Mayor and Council Officers and to share the issues which are affecting them.
The Mayor will be continuing his visits to small businesses over the next few weeks and months. If you would like to host a Mayoral visit or for information on the Councilís economic development activities, please phone Michelle Pearson on 028 9034 0018 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
