Zest Fitness Suite

Join Zest Fitness

Newtownabbey Borough Council has recently invested heavily in the fitness suite at the Arts & Leisure Centre and pushed this facility well and truly into the spotlight!!!

The new equipment is supplied by Technogym – one of the top two leading manufacturers in this market with cutting edge design and a quality of engineering that is undeniably world class. The new resistance range of machines is complimented by Technogym's latest range of cardiovascular machines that are both elegant and sophisticated. The suite is home to four treadmills, two X-trainers, four cycles and two steppers along with a reintroduction of some free weights and three Concept II rowing machines.

State of the Art Audio/Visual

All this new equipment has been supplemented by a contemporary decor refurbishment that includes a state of the art audio-visual system. This system allows the management to provide the latest chart topping sounds and sights to be delivered to suite users on four 27” LCD flat screen televisions and a fantastic 42” plasma screen. Furthermore a network connection to a computer terminal allows for health and fitness advice or customer information notices to be posted on one or more of these screens at the touch of a button.
