The Leisure and Cultural Services section of the Council are calling on the people of Newtownabbey and those further afield, to suggest new and creative ideas for workshops and classes that could take place in the Borough.

Newtownabbey Borough Council is hosting a NEST Donation event in the Museum at The Mill on Friday 3 February 2012 from 10am - 4pm.
Arts Development in Newtownabbey
Newtownabbey Borough Council recognises that the Arts Development Service plays an active role in sustaining the well being of the community. The arts enhance our society and the quality of life of everybody.
To this end it creates opportunities for participation in a variety of activities, which encourage the exploration of different cultures and personal attitudes, and in doing so releases inhibitions and encourages self-expression.
