From 1st April-31st December 2008 we will celebrate Newtownabbey’s 50th anniversary. We are planning community events and an exhibition so that everyone can join in the celebrations.

Garden Party Nomination

We are planning two garden parties at Sentry Hill in June. We would like to invite people who have made a significant contribution to life in Newtownabbey over many years.

If you know someone who fits this category and would like to be considered for an invitation please contact us, by using the details below, giving us the person’s name, address and also tell us about the contribution the person has made locally. We will be reserving a number of invitations for these nominations.

Married 50 years?

We would like to invite married couples who are living in Newtownabbey and are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary to some of the celebrations during the anniversary year. If you know of a couple living locally who will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversary between 1st April - 31st December and would like to be part of the celebrations then contact us:
